The Health Foundation has recently launched a new programme, Scaling Up Improvement with over £3 million (up to £500k per project team) available for up to seven teams to take successful health care improvement interventions and deliver them at a larger scale.
They are looking for projects that aim to improve health care delivery and/or the way people manage their own health care. Projects need to show how ideas, interventions and approaches that have been tested and shown to improve care at a small scale can be delivered at a larger scale. Applications can come from any health or health and social care provider organisation in the UK where services are free at the point of delivery, they are expecting applications from a partnership of organisations working together, education bodies can be involved as a partner. Projects are expected to run for up to 2 years following a recommended 6 month set up phase.
