Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie individual fellowships

flag_yellow_lowThe European Commission Horizon 2020: Excellent Science invites proposals for its H2020-MSCA-IF-2014 Marie Sklodowska-Curie individual fellowships call. This aims to enhance the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers wishing to diversify their individual competence in terms of skill acquisition through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility. Support will be granted for individual, transnational fellowships awarded to the best or most promising researchers for employment in member states or associated countries, based on an application made jointly by the researcher and host organisation.

There are two different mobility types:

•European fellowships: these are held in EU member states or associated countries and are open to researchers either coming to Europe or moving within Europe;

•global fellowships: these are based on a secondment to a third country and a mandatory 12 month return period to a European host.

The beneficiary shall be a participant located in a member state or associated country and employing the researcher during the project.

The indicative budget is €240.50 million, of which €29m is reserved for global fellowships.

Closing date: 11 September 2014
