The British and Irish Law, Education and Technology Association invites applications for its research awards. These support research projects related to the use of technology in legal education. Funding is available for the following:
•assistance with initial project planning and development;
•support for small standalone projects or the completion of ongoing projects;
•holding workshops, seminars and meetings for the advancement of a specific research project;
•assisting visits to or by research collaborators;
•assisting with incidental expenses of larger projects;
•assistance with publication.
Individuals from the association’s member institutions may apply.
The annual budget is worth up to £4,000. Awards may range in size between £500 and £2,000 each, though in special circumstances they may be worth up to £3,000. Funding covers travel and subsistence; room hire, catering and other costs incurred with events; purchase of equipment; production and publication costs of research outputs.
